How to Press Flowers is a group exhibition that explores moments in the art practices of five women and the way in which they collage, isolate, and incorporate these practices into daily ritual and routine – focusing not on a specific outcome or final project, but nuances found in process.
Every person’s relationship to body, time, biology and expectations is fluid. By embracing the complexities of each individual’s needs, space is created to subvert normative and capitalistic narratives and ideals.
Through their work and research, each project presented in this exhibition has been explored at an intersection of art-making and everyday life, inviting you into an individual exploration of gender, fertility, domesticity and technology.
